We have put up this forum in the hope that the Poems for... project can become as much a a conversation between people, as simply a supply of poems. We're not equipped to scrutinise people's contributions to the Forum hour by hour, or even day by day, or reply to queries either quickly or consistently. For it is still the fact that funding allows only one and a half days work a week on the project and one never catches up. But we will keep an eye and promise to miss nothing ; and in the meantime contributors might well find good reason to converse with each other.
I keep hearing of original and exciting things that teachers and others are doing with these poem-posters. So how about using this Forum as an exchange of ideas and experiences of what can be done, what is being learned, what more can be done ? The site and this project could thus become a kind of community.
