Poems for...Embassies

Last year, the "Poems for…one world" collection was advertised on a Foreign and Commonwealth Office internal email staff bulletin. There was significant interest, and packs were sent out to UK embassies in the following cities : Brussels, Gaborone, Hanoi, Havana, Muscat, Rabat, Rangoon, Santiago. They travelled by push-bike to King Charles Street in Whitehall, were walked across that great and stately cobbled Victorian courtyard and then slid down a ramp to the scanner room before heading off across the world.

In October, the collection was advertised on educational and library websites and newsletters, and here again there has been a striking response. Through the Autumn, packs went out to nearly 200 schools and to 50 libraries around the country.
